Introduction

Wang Leyu is a professor of chemistry at BUCT. He was supported by “the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scholar” and selected to participate in the ‘New Century Outstanding Talent’ scheme of the Ministry of Education. He received his PhD from Tsinghua University (2007) in chemistry. He joined the University of California at Los Angeles as a postdoctoral researcher from 2007-2009. He moved to BUCT’s Chemistry Department, the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Resource Engineering in October 2009. His research interests involve nanoenzymes, fluorescence probes, noble metal luminescent nanoclusters, upconversion luminescent nanoprobes, semiconductor, metal organic frame (MOF), single atom catalysts, magnetic nanomaterials, including their synthesis, modification and applications in drug delivery, in vivo imaging, sensing, catalysis, and energy transformation. Prof. Wang has published over 190 research papers in journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nat .Commun., Adv Mater, Nano Lett, Adv. Funct. Mater., Sci Adv, Anal Chem, ACS Nano, Small. He has been authorized over 30 China invention patents.
