Introduction

Prof. Guang-Wen Chu obtained his bachelor, master and PhD degree from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He was a visiting scholar in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2014. Prof. Chu is now the Deputy Director of the Research Center of the Ministry of Education for High Gravity Engineering and Technology.He has received the awardsof the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2017.

Research

Prof. Chu’s research interest is Process Intensification, especially on the high-gravity reactor engineering and technology. He has filed 5 worldwide patents and 56 national patents. In recent 5 years, he has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal papers. As the Principal Investigator, Prof. Chu has been granted the Invention Award of the Ministry of Education 1 time. As one of main member, he has been granted the National Invention Award and the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award. He has also been granted three provincial awards, etc.

Teaching

The lecturer of Principles of Chemical Engineering, he has over 20 years of teaching experience since 2002.
