IntroductionDr. Huimin Yun is a faculty member at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and a researcher at the Institute for Carbon Neutrality. Her research focuses on the low-carbon transition of energy and chemical systems, life cycle assessment (LCA), biomanufacturing, and the energy–water–land nexus. Dr. Yun received her Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), supervised by Prof. Xiaotao Bi (FCAE, Director of UBC Clean Energy Research Centre) and Prof. Roland Clift (FRS, FREng, CBE, Founding Chair of the International Society for Industrial Ecology, IPCC Review Editor). She has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key R&D Program, and published over 20 papers as first or corresponding author in journals such as Environmental Science & Technology and Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews. Her goal is to advance systemic approaches and intelligent models to support the green transition and strategic decision-making in the energy and chemical industries.
