Introduction
Yu Ying, female, is a Doctor of Education and an Applied Psychology Postdoctoral Scholar. She was born in 1978, Changchun City, Jilin Province. Yu is now an associate professor and a postgraduate student advisor at the School of Arts and Law at Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
Main research directions Higher education management, Public management, Comparative education, Education and human resource management. She has been an associated compiler of the “Comparative Professional Education”, one of the textbook series presented by Centre of Comparative Education Studies. She was also a contributing analyst of the Education Observation of Xinhua News Agency, with more than 30 research reports published. She has also published more than 30 papers in journals such as Comparative Education Review, Modern Education Journal, Modern Education Management, University Education Science, Chinese Education Daily, and Science Times Weekly. Thereinto, the paper Analysis of Interaction between Research University and City in Japan (written independently and published on the 3rd issue of Comparative Education Review, 2011) has been reprinted entirely by the Higher Education of the Information Center for Social Sciences, RUC, the 6th issue of 2011. Similarly, her paper On the Forming and Characteristics of Japanese Higher Education Mode has been awarded the Third Prize of the 8th Outstanding Scientific Contribution Evaluation by the Beijing Higher Education Society. Yu has acquired 15 project approvals supported by the National Social Science Foundation, Ministry of Education and the Beijing municipal projects, while leading four of them, two of which are now in progress. Yu has also been sponsored by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the Extraordinary China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Fund, as well as the Social Science and Medical Science Paper Award of the United Universities which was founded in Hong Kong. In 2007, Yu has gone to study in Nagoya University in Japan fully sponsored by the Chinese China Scholarship Council.
