Male, member of the Communist Party of China, associate professor, Deputy Director of Foreign Languages Department, School of Humanities and Law. Song graduated with a Master's degree in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from the School of Foreign Languages, Jilin University, and was a visiting scholar at Cleveland State University in the United States. He is a member of the 11th Council of the College English Research Branch of the Beijing Higher Education Society, and an expert of the National College English Test Band 4 and Band 6 (CET-4 and CET-6) Marking Group.

Song has participated in 6 teaching reform projects of the Ministry of Education, 3 scientific research projects of the National College English Test Committee, and more than 10 school-level teaching reform projects. In addition, Song has published 8 related papers and compiled and published more than 20 kinds of textbooks, among which 1 is a national planned textbook for the Eleventh Five-Year Plan of ordinary higher education, and 1 is an excellent textbook of higher education in Beijing. Song is the winner of the title of Excellent Undergraduate Teaching Plan in Beijing Colleges and Universities, has won the Dabao Teaching Award of BUCT twice, and won the first prize of Excellent Teaching Achievement Award of BUCT in 2006 (ranked third). Song is also a member of the Beijing Excellent Teaching Team - the College English Course Teaching Team of BUCT (ranked fourth), a core member of the Excellent Course of Beijing Colleges and Universities - College English of BUCT (ranked third).

Research

Research interests: cognitive linguistics, foreign language teaching and research. Up to now, Song has participated in more than 40 teaching reform, scientific research and textbook projects at various levels.
