Introduction

Dr. Shu-Ju Diana Tai  graduated from Iowa State University (ISU) in 2013 with a PhD Degree in Applied Linguistics and Technology, with a minor in Curriculum and Instructional Technology. Extended her stay at ISU for a Post Doc position, she worked on teaching and research in TESL and Teacher Education. She is currently working as a Professor at School of International Education (SIE) at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) as well as a Master Student Advisor at College of Humanities and Laws. In addition to her responsibilities in teaching, research, advising, she also take on the task to build and train the SIE international instructors team as well as to facilitate and promote the international collaborations among SIE partner universities. She was awarded the BUCT Ten Best Teachers in 2016. Between 2016-2020, she has published 7 manuscripts in international publications, three of which are SSCI journals; presented at 6 international conferences; headed 4 university/and college wide projects in educational revolutions; and served as reviewers for a number of international journals, including the following three SSCI journals: TESOL Quarterly, Computers & Education Journal and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) Journal.
