IntroductionDr Shi-Zhong Luo received his B.A. (1999) and Ph.D (2004) in Chemistry at the Tsinghua University. After postdoctoral training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, He began his independent career in the College of Life Science and Technology at Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2008. He is currently the professor of biotechnology in Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Beijing New-star of Science and Technology. His group's research focuses on bioactive peptide, self-assembly of proteins and biological peptides, biomolecular recognition, and molecular dynamic simulation. In particular, the group's interests encompass the aggregation mechanism and phase separation modulation of bioactive peptides and proteins related to neurodegeneration diseases. He has published over 50 scientific papers as corresponding author in top journals including Nat. Comm., Sci. Adv., JBC and JMB.
