Introduction

Li Hongfei, male, 44 years old, is an associate professor and masters supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He serves as the deputy secretary-general of the Flame Retardant Materials and Applications Committee under the China Plastics Processing Association. His research and teaching focus on plastic modification, molding processing, polymer flame retardancy and smoke suppression, fireproof coatings, and biodegradable materials. In recent years, he has led or participated in 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 key special project of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, 5 Ministry of Education projects, and 39 cross-disciplinary research projects. He holds 22 authorized technical invention patents and has received 2 second prizes for provincial/ministerial-level technical inventions. His publications include 142 journal articles, 112 of which are indexed in SCI and 41 in TOP journals. The main project details are listed in the table below:
