IntroductionPingfan Li is a native of Chengdu, Sichuan, China. He graduated from Peking University in 2005 (B.Sc. with Jiaxi Xu), and from the University of Chicago in 2010 (Ph.D. with Hisashi Yamamoto). After postdoctoral training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2010 to 2011 (with David Y. Gin and Samuel J. Danishefsky) and at Boston College in 2012 (with Amir H. Hoveyda), he joined the Beijing University of Chemical Technology as an associate professor in the fall of 2013.
