主要研究领域为应用多尺度计算模拟方法及机器学习方法研究能源相关材料构-效关系及材料的优化与设计。在包括Advanced Materials, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Advanced Energy Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, ACS Catalysis, Journal of Catalysis, Applied Catalysis B, Nano Energy, Small等国际学术刊物发表SCI收录论文70余篇,总引用8000余次

1.多尺度计算模拟及化工工艺流程模拟,第一性原理密度泛函(DFT)、分子动力学(MD)、动力学蒙特卡洛(KMC)、有限元(FEM)等计算模拟,机器学习和人工智能方法用于材料设计;

2.材料结构与其光、电、热、磁等性能的构-效关系,材料表、界面、缺陷设计改性;

3.绿色能源储存与转化相关化学反应机理研究,包括ORR、OER、 HER、 CO2RR、NRR等;

4.催化材料的理性设计与筛选,碳基纳米催化剂;碳基复合功能材料设计与调控。
