Research

1.High gravity reaction engineering and   technology

    Fulfillment of process intensification by   employing rotating packed bed (RPB) to create a high gravity environment   using centrifugal force. Theoretical study on the process characteristics and   principles of fluid flow, micromixing and mass transfer in RPB. Application   of RPB in nanomaterials synthesis, deaeration, desulfurization and Product   manufacturing.

2. Nanomaterials   synthesis and application

    Synthesis of nanoscale   inorganic materials (oxide, carbonate) by wet chemistry routes, especially by   a high gravity reactive precipitation (HGRP) method, with emphasis on the   size and morphology control of these nanomaterials. Exploration of the unique   properties of the as-synthesized nanomaterials for applications in painting,   rubber, plastics and so on.
