Huchuangang

Chuangang Hu is currently a Professor at the College of Chemical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He received his MS from Henan Normal University in 2011, and his Ph.D. from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2015. After receiving Ph.D. degree, he continued his postdoctoral studies for 5 years at Case Western Reserve Univer-sity (4 years), USA and the University of New South Wales (1 year), Australia. 

 He has been engaged in the precise design, synthesis and preparation of advanced carbon-based materials and their applications for more than 16 years. With an h-index of 66, he has published more than 100 SCI papers, including PNAS., Chem. Soc. Rev., Nature Commun., Adv. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci., Angew. Chem. Int. Edit. Ed., Nano Lett. etc. The papers have been cited more than 16,850 times.

His research interests focus on the design and preparation of advanced carbon-based materials for environmental remediation, energy conversion, and storage.

As the first/corresponding author, he has published 50 papersin prestigious journals, such as PNAS., Chem. Soc. Rev., Adv. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci. (3 articles), Angew. Chem. Int. Mater. He also owns 9 national invention patents, and has delivered 2 oral presentations in international conferences with high reputation.
