Jiangrui

Rui Jiang (1988–) graduated from the Communication University of China with a Ph.D. in Animation. She completed an exchange visit to the Game Design Program at Northeastern University in the United States. She is currently the Deputy Head of the Department of Art and Design at Beijing University of Chemical Technology and serves as the Director of the Digital Media Art Program, holding the position of Associate Professor. She is also a member of the Political Consultation Committee of the Jiusan Society’s Beijing University of Chemical Technology Branch, a member of the Cultural Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Jiusan Society, a member of the National Committee on Digital Creativity, and a member of the Animation and Digital Media Art Steering Committee of the China University Film and Television Society.

Her primary research areas include serious games, gamified interactive system design, and the digital art innovation of cultural heritage. She has published multiple SSCI papers, holds one invention patent, and has authored over 10 papers in EI-indexed and core Chinese journals. She has participated in major national projects such as the National Social Science Fund of China’s Art Major Project “Research on the Innovation of the Knowledge System of Chinese Animation Art in the New Era” and the National Science and Technology Support Project “R&D and Application of Real-Time Mobile Interactive Digital Film and Animation Full-Process Collaborative Production Platform Technology.” She has led a total of six horizontal and vertical research projects. Several of her reports on public opinion and policy suggestions have been adopted by the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the Chaoyang District CPPCC, with two of them being recognized as provincial think tank achievements.
