Introduction

Shuo WANG (1988-) is Associate Professor of College of Humanities and Law. He received his doctor’s degree at Renmin University of China in 2013. He was awarded Outstanding Doctorate Dissertation of Criminal Law by Criminal Law Research Association of China in 2014. He conducted research at Law School of Masstricht University as a visiting scholar. Since 2013, he published more than 30 academic papers and 3 representative books in Criminal Law. He is one of the authors of course books such as Criminal Law (Renmin University Press) and Case Studies for Criminal Law (General Provision) (Renmin University Press). He won the prize of Outstanding Teacher of Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2016. Dr. WANG has been frequently involved in national legal practice. As a tutor of moot court, he guided students to win the first prize for three consecutive times. He is now focusing on studies of minor offence, protection of private economy and criminal policy evaluation.
