Introduction

Liu Lingna, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Researcher Fellow at the Institute of Natural Resources Strategic Development at China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Executive Secretary of the Carbon Neutrality Professional Committee of Chinese Society for Sustainable Development, Member of the Climate Change Working Committee of Chinese Society for Sustainable Development, Member of the council of the Beijing Productivity Society, Review Expert of the Third Working Group of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, Selected Member of the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), and Selected Member of the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST).

Her research focused on construction and policy of resilient cities. She was the visiting scholar of the Risk and Resilience Group at the University of Groningen, Netherlands and the International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). She has published nearly 30 papers in well-known domestic and foreign journals such as the Theoretical Edition of Guangming Daily, China Engineering Science, Ecological Indicators. She is currently the Guest Editor of International Journals including Frontiers in Energy Research and Energy, Ecology and Environment, and the Youth Editorial Board Member of Chinese Journal Resources and Industries. She is the PI of 6 national and provincial and ministerial level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Project, the Chinese Academy of Engineering Consulting Project, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project. As a core member, she has participated in a total of 11 National Science and Technology Major Projects, as well as Major Consulting Projects of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. She has published 3 monographs and participated in the compilation of 5 books and the establishment of 1 national standard of resilient cities. She has received the Special Prize of the Natural Resources Science and Technology Progress Award (Ranking: 5/15), the 17th Beijing Youth Excellent Science and Technology Paper Award, Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Journal Excellent Paper, Award CTTI 2023 Think Tank Research Excellent Achievement First Prize, China National Knowledge Infrastructure High Impact Article Award, etc. Her relevant achievements have been adopted and applied by multiple ministries and commissions in China.
