Introduction

1. Biography

Luxiang Zhao, Ph.D., male, CPC member, is currently a probationary Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). He completed his postdoctoral research and served as an Assistant Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University under the supervision of Academician Jianbin Luo.

His research interests include atmospheric pressure plasma generation and precise release technology, plasma diagnostics, flexible plasma technologies and their applications, plasma biomedicine, and plasma-based surface functionalization of materials.

He is the principal investigator of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Program and a talent introduction project at BUCT. He serves as the academic secretary of a major project under the “173 Program” (Key Program for Basic Reinforcement by the Central Military Commission) and contributed to the preparation of its research guideline. He has also participated in one 173 Program project, two National Key R&D Program projects, one Tsinghua University Precision Medicine Key/Exploratory Project, and several enterprise-funded horizontal research projects.

Dr. Zhao has published 25 SCI-indexed papers in journals such as Cell Reports Physical Science. He is a reviewer for journals including High Voltage, IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, and Acta Mechanica Sinica. He holds seven authorized national invention patents.
