IntroductionMy name is Bo Zhang. And currently serve as an associate professor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, a national key university of China. My research is mainly about drilling engineering and gas hydrate development. I achieved my PhD degree in 2018 from China University of Petroleum and used to be a visiting PhD student from 2016 to 2018 in Texas A&M University. Not only that, I have six-year field work experience in China National Petroleum Company, the largest petroleum company in China. The above experiences have given me rich field knowledge and strong academic background in drilling engineering, especially in the areas of well control, well integrity, annular pressure and well temperature. Up to now, I have published over 80 papers in famous journals and conferences, 40 of theses papers as the first author or corresponding author. Based on my academic research, I actively participate in academic and review work. I have joined editorial boards of five journals as youth member and was awarded as an excellent editorial board member of Carbon Research in 2023. Meanwhile, I an invited to review paper for over 50 Journals (Thirty of them are indexed by Science Citation Index), including Applied Thermal Engineering, Petroleum Science and Technology, Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering, et al.
