Introduction

Jiao Zhiwei is a professor/doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and the head of the Department of Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation. He was rated as a Rising Star of Science and Technology in Beijing, and was selected as a Class B talent in the 100 Young Talents Program of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and one of the Top Ten Teachers of Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He also serves as the executive deputy secretary-general of the Expert Committee of the China Plastics Association, an expert in the Chinese plastics processing industry, a member of the Expert Committee of the China Plastics Machinery Association, a member of the National Rubber and Plastic Machinery Standardization Technical Committee, and a director of the Aerospace Metamaterial/Metastructure Technology Innovation Alliance. In the past 5 years, he has undertaken and participated in the completion of scientific research projects including the National Key R&D Program, the Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star Program and its interdisciplinary projects, provincial science and technology major projects, and enterprise commissioned scientific and technological research projects, and published more than 60 papers as the first author/corresponding author, of which more than 20 are included in SCI; He has applied for more than 50 invention patents.
