IntroductionJia Mingyin is an Associate Professor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, a recipient of the Beijing Outstanding Talent Program, a member of the Chinese Plastics Association Standard Committee, and an Expert in the Special Committee on Modified Plastics and the Expert Committee of the China Plastics Machinery Association. He is also a member of the SAMPE Thermoplastic Composites Committee. His research mainly focuses on intelligent manufacturing technologies for advanced composite materials, new technologies processes, and equipment for polymer processing, with special emphasis on advanced composite materials, additive manufacturing 3D printing, and energetic material processing technologies. He has developed new technologies and equipment, including continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite granules, thermoplastic prepreg sheets, continuous fiber-reinforced 3D printing, thermoplastic reactive pultrusion/RTM molding, and special polymer processing technology. As the principal investigator, Jia has led over 50 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, Central Universities Fund, Beijing’s “Young Talents Program” ,the Beijing Outstanding Talent Training Program, and various industry-funded projects. He has also participated in major national projects during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and other significant initiatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He holds 16 authorized invention patents, has published over 40 SCI-indexed papers, and received several prestigious awards, including the third prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, the Innovation Award for Industry-University-Research Collaboration in China, the second prize of the Chinese Invention and Innovation Award, and the first prize of the China Building Materials Innovation Award.
