IntroductionOur laboratory research addresses a wide range of fundamental problems at the interface of organic chemistry and chemical biology. The research seeks to construct compounds with incredibly diverse properties and applications, including non-random DNA cleavage, non-viral gene vector, anti-HIV polymeric prodrug, DNA condensing process, and even DNA-based hybrid catalyst. These problems are tackled by use of a variety of techniques that include: synthesis, structural biology and cellular biology.
