He obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from Tsinghua University in 2004 and 2007, and his doctoral degree from the Stevens Institute of Technology in 2012. Long term commitment to computer-aided and AI assisted molecular design (CADD&AIDD) of medicinal peptides, physicochemical characterization and activity mechanism of medicinal peptides, construction of biological expression systems for medicinal peptides, and fundamental theoretical and technological innovation research related to peptide based drug/nucleic acid delivery systems. Undertook and participated in projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, and National Key R&D Program, and published over 40 papers in renowned journals such as ACS Nano, Advanced Science, and Briefing in Bioinformatics.
