IntroductionWang Feng, a professor and doctoral supervisor, is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a recipient of the Special Government Allowance. He graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan with a Doctor of Engineering degree in 2003 and completed his postdoctoral research at the National University of Nagano, Japan from 2003 to 2006. Currently, he serves as the vice president of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, the deputy director of the National Engineering Research Center for Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Technology, and the director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Process and Technology of Materials. He also holds positions as a member of the Materials Division of the Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Energy Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, and the vice president of the 8th Council of the Beijing Surface Engineering Society. His research mainly focuses on electrochemical energy storage materials, electrocatalytic materials, and applied electrochemical engineering. In 2007, he was selected for the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talent Support Program, and in 2011, he received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has led over 20 scientific research projects, including key projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, key support projects of the National Natural Science Foundation Regional Joint Fund, Beijing Science and Technology Plan projects, and enterprise-commissioned projects. He has published over 200 SCI academic papers in international journals such as Chem. Soc. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Energy Environ. Sci., Nano Energy, ACS Catal., and Energy Storage Mater., with over 11,000 citations. He has authored one English monograph, obtained over 50 national invention patents, one European invention patent, and one Japanese invention patent, and won one first prize and one second prize in provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards.
