IntroductionHu Gaofei, born in 1977, PhD, professor in College of Chemistry, master's supervisor, graduated with a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the School of Science, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) in 2002, and then stayed in BUCT serving as a teacher; He obtained his Ph.D. in Life Science from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2008; He conducted postdoctoral research at the Guelph Food Research Centre of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada from 2012 to 2013, focusing on the mechanisms of the generation of harmful chemical toxins in food processing or treatment, as well as the study on the related analytical methodology. Currently, he mainly engages in research on nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, magnetic resonance contrast agents and magnetic resonance imaging, cancer diagnosis and treatment nanomedicines, nano-sensing and imaging, food and environmental safety analysis, toxicity analysis and evaluation of single atomic site catalysts and nanomaterials. His research findings have been published in international academic journals such as Anal. Chem., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Healthcare Mater., ACS Appl. Mater. Interface, Food Chem., and J. Mater. Chem. B. He is hosting national natural science foundation general program, BUCT discipline construction projects, etc. He has participated in the research projects of national key research and development plan, BUCT Double Top-Class construction cross-disciplinary innovation platform, etc. He has undertaken many enterprise-cooperative research projects. He has participated in the writing of several chapters of the book Illustrated Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Technology and Examples (Science Press, January 2010). Currently, He is teaching the undergraduate course Instrumental Analysis which is a national-level exemplary course. He also teaches the undergraduate courses Instrumental Analysis Experiment and Advanced Development of Instrumental Analysis. At present, he is a member of the Academic Committee of Beijing Spectroscopy Society, an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Chemical Reagents, and a member of Chinese Chemical Society.
