Introduction

The research field mainly focuses on the catalyst construction, molecular design, and controlled/living polymerization. Through the industry-university-research joint model, he has developed a complete set of 30,000 tons/year high-performance rare earth butadiene rubber technology and built the first industrial production facility for rare earth butadiene rubber in Sinopec, successfully achieving the transformation of basic research results into industrial applications. By effectively controlling the chain polymerization elementary reactions of conjugated dienes and styrene, he has achieved the controlled polymerization of olefins catalyzed by rare earths. The New Generation High-Efficiency Polymerization Technology for Rare Earth Butadiene Rubber won the second prize of Sinopec's Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019, New Principles and Methods of Controlled Active Coordination Polymerization of Olefins and Preparation of High-Performance New Structural Materials won the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in 2016, and Controlled Coordination Polymerization Methods of Olefins and Preparation Technology of High-Performance Elastomers won the second prize of the National Invention Award in 2020.
