IntroductionWang Xiaoxu is an Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Nankai University in 2009 and earned his Ph.D. from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, USA, in 2014. After completing his doctorate, he remained at the institution as a Research Scientist II. In 2015, he joined the National Carbon Fiber Engineering Technology Research Center at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. His main research focuses on the industrialization of carbon fibers and the development of novel activated carbon fibers and nanocarbon fibers. To date, he has published nearly 30 papers in international journals such as Nano Energy, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, and ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, and co-authored a book chapter. He has received several honors, including the 2017 Leading Entrepreneurial Talent Cultivation Support Program from Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, the 2013 Excellent Doctoral Student Award, and the 2013 National Scholarship for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad.
