IntroductionJulin Wang, Ph.D., is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She has published more than 50 academic papers, including more than 30 papers in SCI-indexed journals. She has published two treatises. Applied for more than 20 national invention patents. She is responsible for and has completed more than 100 projects, most of which are sub-topics of 863 programme, national major special projects, national science and technology support projects and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, including corrosion mechanism of metals, research on new coatings and corrosion inhibitors, analysis of the structure and composition of the materials, and protection of cultural heritage. She is a member of the editorial board of the Chinese core journal ‘Surface Technology’, vice president of the Professional Committee on Materials for the Protection and Restoration of Cultural Relics of the Chinese Society of Antiquities, a member of the Chinese Society of Water Treatment, and a member of the Chinese Society of Corrosion and Protection.
