Introduction

Professor Zhongjie Ren was awarded MSc (2006) by Changchun institute of applied chemistry, Chinese academy of science. He received his PhD from Institute of chemistry, Chinese academy of science in 2009. He has been a visiting scholar in the University of Durham during 2014-2015. His research is focused on polymeric OLEDs, including phosphorescent host, thermally activated delayed fluorescence materials and morphological control of light-emitting layers. In 2013 and 2017, he was selected to participate in the ‘Beijing Higher Education Young Elite Teacher Project’ and “Young Hundred-Talent Program in Beijing University of Chemical Technology”, respectively. In 2019 he was supported by National Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholars. He has published more than 150 articles in international academic journal, such as Nature Reviews Materials, Progress in Materials Science, Nature Communications, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Materials,Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Science, Journal of Materials Chemistry and so on. Over 10 authorized patents have resulted from his work.
