IntroductionEducationWork ExperienceDuan Shun is a professor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. In 2006, he graduated from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, majoring in pharmaceutical engineering/English, with a bachelor's degree in engineering and a bachelor's degree in literature. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of antibacterial materials in the Beijing Laboratory of Biomedical Materials. The research work combines living polymerization with natural polymers, with the main goal of precise and controllable functionalization of the surface of medical materials. A series of studies were carried out in three aspects, including “microbial materials”, “controllable surface functionalization of medical materials and industrialization of antimicrobial materials. In recent years, he has published more than 40 academic papers in journals such as Progress in Materials Science, Advanced Functional Materials, and ACS Nano, and applied for/authorized 18 patents. He presided over 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and served as a technical consultant for many chemical and medical device companies. In 2021, he was supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Research Teaching
