Introduction

Wang Jianlin, Ph.D., Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. He earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Engineering from Tianjin University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Instrument Science and Technology at Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He was also a visiting scholar in the Department of Engineering at the University of Leicester, UK. His primary research areas include intelligent detection of complex process, data-driven modeling, visual measurement, optoelectronic precision measurement, intelligent image processing, and intelligent monitoring of complex systems. As a principal investigator, he has led and completed 15 national projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Major National Scientific Instrument Development, the National Key R&D Program, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, as well as more than 30 corporate science and technology projects. He has published over 100 SCI and EI-indexed academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, holds 21 authorized national invention patents, has filed for more than 30 invention patents, and registered over 10 software copyrights. He has also authored four textbooks. He received the second prize of the Beijing Teaching Achievement Award (as the primary contributor) and is the head of the Beijing Excellent Course Automation Devices. He teaches the graduate course Theory and Technology of Intelligent Detection and the undergraduate core course Testing Technology and Instruments. 

He serves as a member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education for Instrument Major in Higher Education, a member of the Instrument Science and Technology Teaching Committee of the China Machinery Industry Association, a supervisor of the China Instrument and Control Society (CIS), an executive member of the CIS Laboratory Instrument Branch, and a member of the Intelligent Aerospace Systems Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. He is also a member of the CIS Education Working Committee, a certified expert with the China Engineering Education Major Accreditation Association, and an expert reviewer for the National Science and Technology Awards, the Ministry of Education and Beijing Science and Technology Awards. Additionally, he is an evaluation expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program, and domestic and foreign SCI journals.
