Introduction

Ma Xin, Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, and Boxue Young Scholar at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. In December 2022, he earned a Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology under the supervision of Professor Wang Youqing. From August 2022 to February 2023, he participated in a joint training program at the University of Surrey in the UK, collaborating with Professor Tao Chen. Since February 2023, he has been conducting postdoctoral research at Beijing University of Chemical Technology under the guidance of Academician Gao Jinji. He has published over 40 papers in top-tier international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica, and IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering. His research has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scholar Fund), the Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program, a sub-project of the National Key R&D Program, general postdoctoral funding, and the Central University Basic Research Funds (Free Exploration Project). He was awarded the 2023 First Prize of the Natural Science Award by the Chinese Association of Automation, the 2024 Outstanding Postdoctoral Researcher Award by Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and the 2025 Capital Frontier Scientific and Technological Achievement Award.
