Introduction

We have conducted in-depth and systematic research on the electrocatalysts for the cathode of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), aiming to overcome the problems of insufficient activity and poor stability of carbon-based catalysts in acidic environments. Based on the controllable synthesis and structural regulation of nanocatalysts, we produced high-performance catalysts with excellent activity and stability, and proposed the formation and deactivation mechanism of active sites. Based on above findings, we have published more than twenty papers on top journals, such as Nat. Catal. and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., with a citation number of 2434.
