Work Experience

Professor Han mainly focuses on the controllable synthesis of inorganic functional nanomaterials and their applications in energy and catalysis research. She has published a total of 50 academic papers, which have been cited over 3,500 times. As the first/corresponding, she has published 26 papers in important SCI journals such as Nat. Commun. (2 papers), Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Sci., Adv. Funct. Mater., Appl. Catal. B, Small, Small Methods, AIChE J., Carbon, J. Hazard. Mater., Sci. China Mater., and J Energy Chem., among which 11 papers have an impact factor greater than 10. Two papers were selected as ESI highly cited TOP 1% papers, one paper was selected as an ESI hot paper, one paper was selected as a cover paper, and the highest citation for a single paper reached 275 times. She has applied for 7 Chinese invention patents for key technologies and has been granted 3 Chinese invention patents. As the principal investigator, she has presided over multiple scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China's general program, youth program, Beijing Natural Science Foundation's youth program, and the Fundamental Funds for Central Universities. She has received funding support from the National University of Singapore Research Scholarship, Tsinghua University Postdoctoral Support Program, and Beijing University of Chemical Technology Young Excellent Reserve Talents Program

Research

Controllable synthesis of inorganic functional materials such as nano- and single-atom materials, and their applications in energy and catalysis. The main research areas include:

  1. Single-atom materials

  2. Two-dimensional layered materials, such as LDHs-based materials and bismuth oxyhalide-based materials

  3. Metal-organic framework (MOF)-based materials

  4. Development of key materials for hydrogen energy-related devices such as water electrolysis for hydrogen production and hydrogen fuel cells

  5. Development of photo-/electro- catalytic catalysts for small molecule conversion, such as O2 reduction to produce H2O2 and CO2 reduction

  6. Development of catalysts for C-H, N-H, and C-O bond activation in the production of fine chemicals
