IntroductionDr. Jun Guan is currently an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the College of Chemistry, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). She obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan in 2021. In 2022, she received support from Tsinghua University's "Shuimu Scholar" program to conduct postdoctoral research and served as an assistant researcher. In 2024, she received support of "Category C Talent" program and joined BUCT. Associate Professor Jun Guan has published 24 SCI papers, including 14 as first or corresponding author, in leading international journals such as Angewandte Chemie International Edition (3 papers), Small (1 paper), Progress in Polymer Science (1), Small (1), Chem Catalysis (1), ACS Applied Materials & Interface (1) and Macromolecules (3 papers). Her research has been highlighted by Angewandte Chemie International Edition on ChemistryViews.org and by the Chemistry Division of U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF-CHE). During her Ph.D., she received the ACS award for Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research (U.S.). After returning to China, she was awarded the Beijing "High-Level Innovation Talent" Youth program (2025), Tsinghua University "Shuimu Scholar" (2021), the Outstanding Postdoctoral Researcher (2022, 2023). She leads projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including the General Program, Young Scientist Fund (Category C), and postdoctoral genetral program (completed), postdoctoral international exchange program (equivalent to the "Boxin Program", completed). She also holds one patent. She serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member of Fine Chemicals. Assoc. Prof. Guan actively collaborates with domestic and international institutions, maintaining strong relationships with Professor Meizhen Yin at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Professor Huaping Xu at Tsinghua University, as well as the University of Michigan in U.S. and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Germany.
