Research

Main research focuses are microbial protein production and its integration with different technologies, such as anaerobic digestion, for upcycling of organic wastes. Key activities lie on exploration of nutrients recovery, biochemicals and biofuels synthesis from wastes and wastes gases, microbial ecology and interactions, biogas and hydrogen production, wastewater treatment.
