IntroductionDr. Shitao Wang, a professor at the Colllege of Chemical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He graduated from Zhengzhou University with a bachelor's degree in 2010 and obtained a master's degree from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013. He then obtained his PhD degree from the University of Tokyo in Japan in 2016 under the supervision of Professor Makoto Fujita. During his study in Japan, he was awarded the JSPS Fellowship and the National Scholarship for Outstanding Self-funded International Students. After he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo from 2016 to 2017 and at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States from 2017 to 2018 (collaborating supervisor: Professor Virgil Percec), he joined Beijing University of Chemical Technology as an associate professor in September 2018 and was promoted to full professor in January 2024. Currently, he mainly focuses on the design and synthesis of new organic porous materials, as well as their optoelectronic properties and energy chemistry related research. Besides, he has served as a young editorial board member of the journal of EcoEnergy, and was a Vebleo Fellow in the international scientific organization Vebleo Association. In the past five years, as the corresponding author, he has published more than 40 SCI papers including Chem. Soc. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct.
