Research

Professor Yingzhou Lu majors in chemical engineering with a distinguished track record in the research and development of advanced materials, particularly in chlorinated polymers and green chemical production processes. He has authored over 20 scholarly articles in prestigious journals and secured three national invention patents. His patent for Preparation of Chlorinated Polypropylene in a Semi-Aqueous Phase has been pivotal in replacing the use of tetrachloroethylene (CTC) in the chlorinated polypropylene (CPP) industry, earning a substantial technology transfer fee of 11 million yuan. This innovation has been instrumental in China's compliance with the Montreal Protocol, allowing the retention of the CPP industry while fulfilling international environmental commitments. Mr. A has also served as a technical consultant to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, contributing to the strategic planning and management of the ODS industry. Since 2019, he has been a key technical expert in establishing an online monitoring system for CTC by-products across 18 production units in the methyl chloride industry, significantly enhancing the nation's ODS control measures.

1. In January 2024, a technology development contract titled Research and Development of Chlorinated Polymers for Application and Greening in Aerospace Special Environments was signed with RED Materials Co., Ltd., with a project budget of 1.1 million yuan.

2. In June 2021, a technology transfer contract was signed with Liuhua Tairun New Materials Co., Ltd. for the production of chlorinated polypropylene using the semi aqueous phase method, with a total transfer amount of 1.5 million yuan.

3. In April 2021, a technology development contract titled the research and development of ester soluble chlorinated polypropylene production technology was signed with RED Materials Co., Ltd., with a project budget of 0.5 million yuan.
